I forced change to happen by resigning from my miserable job a few weeks ago. Life is too short to feel so bad. Looking forward to new adventures ahead.
The sad part is I loved the work I was doing (working with people who have cerebral palsy), the problem was people around me and the company I worked for; unfortunately not everyone has the same values towards or respect levels for the individuals cared for. Part of me felt guilty as if I was abandoning them but my whole demeanor had suffered by everyone’s negativity and I had to get out. I know it will turn out okay, a gut feeling has been with me since I made the decision to make a leap of faith. Too many people waste their lives being unhappy and feeling unfulfilled. I have more to see and experience ahead of me and eagerly say “bring it on!” ~ Rachel Williams
I resigned from my job in order to move on, so I could grow in my profession more and in my personal life. You can do it. Remain strong, positive and keep those around you who will be your support system. ~ Brenda Wilson
