Happiness truly is a choice. Those who are suffering have the choice to seek help, help is out there, you have to want it.
Learning to think positive is work, you have to constantly watch your thoughts and try to change them to gratitude for what you do have in your life that’s good. Talk to yourself, write affirmations on your bathroom or vanity mirrors. You have to convince your subconscious to think differently, so you pretty much have to bombard it with positive. It takes a little time, but if you keep at it, you will find yourself in a much better place. ~ Cindy Perez
When in the midst of constant struggles it is difficult to think positive, I have been there, but learning to appreciate the small simple everyday accomplishments is a good place to start. Like when it is hard to get up out of bed, but you made yourself do it anyway, tell yourself good job. For every little thing you struggle with but get through compliment yourself. Even if you don’t succeed at everything does not make a failure. It is an opportunity to try again or find another way. Not everyone needs medication and therapy, but just a simple feeling of having accomplished something. You can do it, believe in yourself, pat yourself on the back once in awhile. Take a long deep cleansing breath and begin to lean toward the positive whenever possible. It won’t be easy at first. Eventually you will figure it out. Like enjoying a beautiful autumn day or a stunning sunset. Sorry to ramble on, but I’ve been where you currently are, and the struggle to change is a daily challenge you have to want, or it doesn’t happen. You have the controls on this project. ~ Peggy Kramer
